Edmund Harder,Ed of Hepburn district passed away on saturday January,24/2009 at the age of 87 years. He was born on September,24/1921 in the Aberdeen district.
He recieved his Education at the Hudson Bay School near Hepburn.
Ed leaves to mourn one sister, Helen of Hepburn; Three brothers, John(Mary) of Saskatoon; Pete Harder of Saskatoon; And Abe(Vi)Harder of Saskatoon; Three sisters-in-law, Doreen Harder, Marlene Harder, And Katie Harder all of Saskatoon.
Also numerous nieces and nephews.
He was Predeceased by sisters, Mary(Bill)Stobbe, and Sarah Wendland, Sister-in-law Mary Harder.
Brothers, Carl(Mary) Harder, Fred Harder, Jake Harder, Rueben Harder, and Harry Harder.

Uncle Ed would agree with this one
When I come to the end of the day,
And the sun has set for me.
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little, but not too long,
And not with you head bowed low.
Remember the love we once shared---
Miss me, but let me go.
For this is a journey we all must take,
And each must go alone.
It's all part of the maker's plan,
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick at heart
Go to the friends we know.
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds---

In our Hearts
We thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday,
And the days before that, too.

God looked around his garden,
And He found an empty place.
He then looked down upon this Earth,
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you,

He knew you were suffering.

Dear uncle Ed
Dear Uncle Ed,
Are you there? Do you feel safe there in heaven?
Have you walked into the light?
Or are you waiting till the time is right?
Are you here with me right now? as i bow my head in sorrow?
Are you there uncle Ed? when i call you?
Do you miss me? I miss you.
Do you hug me when im sleeping,dreaming of you?
Where are you? Why did you leave me?
I guess it was your time, but i wish you could have seen...seen me one last time, before you left this earth!
It is now i understand,
That uncle Ed you've never left,
For your still in my heart,
and dried the tears that i have wept.
You watch over us,
making sure that we're okay.
And so for now i say good bye,
until we reunite some day!
